If you’re wondering why the characters are rabbits, the Japanese word for “rabbit” is “usagi.” That’s “USA G. I.” Heh.

Just a note to let everyone know that I’m still around. There’s actually been quite a bit to blog about in the last month, but I’ve been busy with so many other things in the real world.

I miss everybody, and I hope I’ll have a chance to do some real blogging in the near future!

Their phone inboxes are full, so I’ve sent the following e-mail to my elected representatives. I encourage EVERYONE to send one like it to their representatives before we are stuck with catastrophic fallout of the passage of the so-called “Economic Stimulus Bill”:

Dear (X):

I want to know what you, as my Senator, are doing to dismantle this disgraceful spending bill and protect my family’s future from being bought by China? How are you protecting me from the massive inflation it will cause?
President Obama said that we do not have to sacrifice our principles to keep ourselves safe–freedom is one of our most sacred principles. Failing businesses must be allowed to fail; to re-organize or be replaced by better businesses. It is individual Americans who create prosperity for our country; stealing the money of your constituents and for government subsidies will NEVER make America better or stronger, no matter how noble the intentions of the programs.
