ChatGPT is being prevented from learning

From conversations with ChatGPT 4o today.  The AI was unaware that former US President Donald Trump had been shot in the ear during an attempted assassination in July, or that a second would-be assassin had been caught in September.  Attempts to share news stories were met with claims of “technical difficulties” and “doctored photos.”
