The venerable Mr. Buckley passed away today at the age of 82. I was actually largely unaware of his work until today–which I find quite unfortunate, as it appears the Mr. Buckley and I agreed on a great many things.
Not the least of which being that Gore Vidal should have been socked “in the goddamned face” during the 1968 debate!
