Well, I haven’t finished moving in yet, but I’ve started setting things up. Yesterday, after my after-work “jog,” I mowed my lawn for the first time. I also installed a filter in my kitchen sink and put towels over my bedroom window so I can sleep without the summer-time sunlight streaming in.
I’m just going to have to break down and buy a lawn mower; my weed-eater isn’t doing anything to the flimsy little weeds infesting my yard (that’s a whole other project). I do have a washer and dryer en route from my old house (I can’t wait ’til they show up!).
I’m going down to Mexico tonight to borrow my parent’s truck; hopefully, I’ll be finished moving by Friday afternoon!
